For Halloween this year, The Bark accepted submissions from elementary age children to share their spookiest Halloween story. But be warned, the following five entries are so scary we recommend that you do not read them alone. 

Worst Nightmare Ever

One dark nite a little girl roasted marshmallow with her dad and mom. When she was done eating her mom sad go hop in the camper. Then I will say goodnite to you. She went to bed and woke up in the middle of the nigt. The girl heard lots of noises. She got out of the camper. She followed it. Finally she saw ghosts vampires and clowns. Then they looked at the girl they came after the girl. The clowns caught her and took her to there secret lair. They put her in the oven. When the buzz rang she realized it was a dream.

The haunting

It was a cold eerie night some kids decided they would go out to the graveyard since it was the night before Hallows Eve. They messed around  and eventually got bored so they went on a walk. While walking they saw an abnormal house and decided to check it out. The door was unlocked so they barged in it was unusually quiet. They walked through a large corridor full of spiders and bats, as the clock struck midnight, it startled everyone but they kept on walking. eventually they came across a chamber they decided to check it out then head back because it was getting late. When they ventured into the room there was a little doll, by it there was a note that said “you found me!” After they read the note the doll started laughing a sinister laugh. The kids were about to scurry but the door shut and the lock clicked the doll said “come play with me, come play with me” and started giggling the kids froze in shock. Then one realized there was a basement, he took the bat from by the doll and shattered the window, they all darted  and concealed in a quiet alley. About ten minutes passed nothing had happened so they decided to get up and leave, while they are running they see a mummy at one side of the street so they turn around and run but they run into a zombie and a clown. They ran by the dumpster they were getting closer then one kid saw a match the mummy had in his right hand he ran, leaped off the ground and snatched the match. He started the dumpster into flames the creatures slowly started melting so they darted by. The next day was Hallows Eve and they were afraid of what would happen then they decided they would need to find someone that could help them so they ran and ran. It started pouring and they were far from home so they took shelter in a little tent nearby there was a creepy looking old lady inside she had what looked like a crystal ball and then she said “I’ve been there expecting you guys.” the kids shrieked but she called out I’m trying to help you so she told them to close there eyes and they would be home. In the morning Bella woke up her wavy blonde hair tangled and knotted, she thought it was just a dream but then the phone went off . She picked it up. And there was a sinister voice that said, “ what’s your favorite scary movie!”

Spooky Stuff

Chapter 1 aliens  invade

Aliens took over Area 51. It took years. Then the aliens sent UFOs to attack the UK aka the United Kingdom. 

Chapter 2 the end of humanity

The human population was low China was invaded. Then the UFOs went to U.S. It was taken over in 3 minutes. There was 1 human left. He killed aliens and UFOs were destroyed by him!

Chapter 3 the end

The last human was almost not alive. He was token like the other humans.

Chapter 4 zombies

There was a zombie apocalypse humans were somehow back. India was getting destroyed by zombies. The U.S. was safe. Canada was getting destroyed. The zombies terminated every country but u.s

Chapter 5 skeletons

It was dark in the u.s but they had a threat skeletons. They had swords to fight the skeletons. The skeletons had bows. And arrows. They fought back. The skeletons destroyed the u.s. They fought and fought until the very end. Humans won.

Chapter 6 ghosts

Now ghosts were roaming. They messed with furniture. Then the hauntings began. Everybody panicked spraying water everywhere. Then there was the people suffering. The end of the world  was near. All day there was screaming and screeching.

Chapter 7 may this be over?

The end might be near. But humans killed the ghosts. Somehow they won.

Chapter 8 it's over!

The UFOs were gone the zombies were gone the ghosts were gone. The skeletons were gone. What else could happen.

Chapter 9 witches

Casting spells everywhere. The humans were scaredy-cats. People were running all the way from u.s to China. The witches were evil. Everywhere somebody fell.

Chapter 10 Outbreak

All the spooky things came back very spooky. Spooky. The humanity was low in not even a minute. The people were already fighting. And it was a fair fight. The fight lasted 1m years. The people were well winning every where. Ch ch ch ch BOOM. The last ufo became ... ashes. Humans win. The end.

Boo!

Boo! Oh hey sorry did I scare you? Sorry about that. My name is Brealyn and I would like to tell you a scary story about ghosts and me. The ghosts scared me so I ran. But I stopped, and I went back in the haunted house. Then I told the ghost to stop scaring me and my friends. So me and my friends weren’t scared. Then we all became friends.
