Things to do on campus during Stress Less Week

Stress Less Week, hosted by Housing and Residence Life, starts Sunday, April 22 at 3 p.m. and ends Friday, April 27, when the coffee and pizza are gone. The following list is a schedule of stress-relieving activities planned over the next week:

All Week Long

  • Free coffee and cocoa outside the library starting at 7:30 a.m. and ends when the coffee is gone

  • Free candy and snacks

  • Activity tables in the library lobby. Activities include: legos, coloring pages, origami, and board games

  • Stress balls are available at the service desk in the library

  • Cute animal videos will be playing as you enter the library

Sunday 4/22

  • Free coffee, cocoa, and snacks will be offered at the library entrance starting at 3 p.m. and ends when the coffee is gone

  • Drawings every hour for prizes including gift cards and plants

  • Free massages on second floor of the library from 6-8 p.m. Space is limited, so come early. Sign-up starts at 6 p.m.

Monday 4/23

  • Free coffee, cocoa and snacks starting at 7:30 a.m.

  • Stress ball make and take. Make your own stress ball in the library from 1-2 p.m.

  • Free smoothies will be offered in the library starting at 11 a.m. and ends when the ingredients run out. Vegan and dairy-free options will be available

  • Stop into Library 119 for help perfecting your summer resume

  • Calm: Practice mindfulness, breathwork, meditation and guided imagery sessions to help find peace throughout the week from 2-3 p.m. in Library 119

Tuesday 4/24

  • Free coffee, cocoa and snacks starting at 7:30 a.m.

  • Stress ball make and take in the library from 1-2 p.m.

  • Resume drop-in in Library 119

  • Zoomobile in the library from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Some of the zoo’s smallest and cutest animals will be here to distract from studying.

  • Free massages will be offered on the second floor of the library from 2-4 p.m. Space is limited. Come early, sign-up starts at 2 p.m.

  • Bulldog Yoga Club meeting in the Kirby Ballroom at 5 p.m. Take a study break and do some yoga. Make sure to enter the drawing for the chance to win a free yoga mat.

  • Knit Wits meeting at 7 p.m. Join Knit Wits for some knitting, crocheting, stitching and more. Attendees will be entered into a raffle for a prize.

Wednesday 4/25

  • Free coffee, cocoa and snacks starting at 7:30 a.m.

  • Pet away the worry and stress (PAWS) from 11-1 p.m. in the Kirby Student Center

  • Button Making in the Library from 1-3 p.m. to design and create your own button

  • Calm in Library 119 from 12:15-12:45 p.m.

Thursday 4/26

  • Free coffee, cocoa and snacks starting at 7:30 a.m.

  • Button making in the library from 1-3 p.m.

  • Resume drop-in in Library 119 3-4 p.m.

Friday 4/27

  • Free coffee, cocoa and snacks starting at 7:30 a.m.

  • Early morning knitting in Library 119 8:30-9:30 a.m.

  • Prize giveaway
