Gerrit Oderman, an undeclared sophomore looks forward to wearing swimsuits in the spring and summer. Oderman uniquely describes his outfit and expresses why he’s interested in fashion.

“My outfit is Goodwill meets American Eagle meets European style,” said Oderman. “Fashion is expressive. You can wear whatever you want and call it fashion.”

“I usually wear skate stuff with influences from west coast subculture” said Mai.

Mai enjoys fall and winter more because it provides options for layering and wearing black. Although, he does have some spring pieces he’s looking forward to wearing.

“T-shirt and jeans, it’s not a lot of thought and it’s great in the spring” said Mai.

Yoomi Choi is a junior majoring in accounting. Her outfit is a cropped black cardigan with a ribbon, high waisted jeans and platform crocs.

“My fashion style is everything cropped and not oversized,” said Choi. “I like high waisted pants with high heels. In the spring, I would still continue to wear jeans with cropped things.”

Keshon Hughes is a sophomore majoring in studio digital arts and photography. He describes his outfit as loud and streetwear.

“I usually like anything that looks unique to me,” said Hughes. “Even when people don’t see the potential in a piece of clothing, I can see it.”

Hughes expressed his goal to expand his fashion style in the spring.

“I like to wear a lot of graphic t-shirts” said Hughes. “I recently just got this Obama t-shirt I’m looking forward to wearing. Also, I want to explore with shorts more.”

Itati Alcantar Sosa is a sophomore majoring in accounting. Her personal style can be seen in her outfit.

“I’ve always favored an edgy punkier style so I layered a tank over a turtleneck,” said Alcantar Sosa. “I have ripped jeans and combat boots with butterflies which goes with my pink eye makeup and the pigtails.”

“I’ve been getting into basics and accessorizing with earrings and hairstyles because they’re still comfy in college” said Alcantar Sosa. “For the spring and summer, I want to be adventurous and branch out to tank tops and dresses. People have been bringing back cottage vintage style with ruffles and florals and I’m really into that.”
