Bulldogs For Life hosted a tie-blanket-making event on Monday  to donate to the Duluth Women’s Resource Center and help out women and families in need.

They have had many events in the past like this, such as making kits for the homeless. Bulldogs For Life creates things as a group to donate to people in need.

“We decided to make the tie blankets for the women’s care center just as a way to support them and their cause, to help the women and families who come in,” said President Rahel Luke. “We in the past have donated to places like Duluth Social Services, but this time we thought we’d mix it up and donate to other places.”

Bulldogs For Life loves to help the community. “With this event, we support the women to have them know they are still loved in that way and looked out for,” Kaitlyn Schlosser, Bulldogs For Life’s outreach officer, said.

Bulldogs For Life plan to have many more events this semester, such as a tour of the Women’s Care Center in late March or early April, with more big events to come next year.
